74LS32 or SN74LS32N known as OR gate or OR gate is a digital logic gate that implements positive input quad-2 logic disjunction with 4 independent OR gates, it behaves according to the truth table.

How does 74LS32 OR Gate work?

When all of its inputs are 0 (zero) or LOW, its output is 0 or LOW, whereas when at least one or both of its inputs are 1 or HIGH, its OUTPUT is going to be 1 or HIGH. In another sense, the OR gate function effectively finds the maximum between two binary digits, just as the AND function finds the minimum. It can be clearly seen that output X is only “0” (logic 0, low level) when both input A and input B are “0”. In other words, output X is equal to 0 when both input A and input B are 0. This device performs the boolean function Y = A + B or Y = (A \ • B \) \ in positive logic.
