Return & Refund Policy

At Robot Pi Shop, we strive to provide high-quality electronics, robotics, and development products. Due to the nature of electronic components, please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Return Eligibility

Products may be eligible for return only if:

  • The return request is made within 3 calendar days from the delivery date for online orders.
  • The product is unused, unopened, and remains in its original sealed packaging.
  • All original accessories, manuals, protective films, and packaging are included.
  • The product shows no signs of installation, programming, soldering, modification, or use.

2. In-Store Purchases

All purchases made directly at our physical store are considered final.

Customers are encouraged to inspect the product and confirm it is the correct item before leaving the store.

Returns or refunds are generally not accepted for in-store purchases unless the product is found to have a manufacturing defect.

3. Opened Products

Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components and development boards:

  • Products that have been opened, tested, powered on, installed, programmed, assembled, or used are not eligible for return or refund.
  • Once the original packaging or sealed anti-static bag has been opened, the product is considered used and cannot be resold as new.

This policy helps ensure that every customer receives genuine, unused products.

4. Incorrect Orders

If you receive:

  • the wrong product,
  • an item missing from your order,
  • or a product damaged during shipping,

please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A description of the issue

We will investigate and provide an appropriate solution.

5. Defective Products

If a product has a genuine manufacturing defect upon arrival:

  • Contact us within 3 days of receiving your order.
  • The item may need to be inspected or tested by our technical team.
  • If the defect is confirmed and is not caused by misuse, incorrect wiring, improper installation, electrical damage, liquid damage, or physical damage, we will repair, replace, or exchange the item at our discretion.

A refund may only be issued if replacement is not possible.

6. Items Not Covered

The following are not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Incorrect wiring
  • Reverse polarity
  • Over-voltage or over-current damage
  • Burned components
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Static electricity (ESD) damage
  • Physical damage
  • Broken connectors or pins
  • Modified or soldered products
  • Software configuration issues
  • Compatibility issues with third-party hardware or software

7. Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was made by Robot Pi Shop.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

8. Exchanges

Eligible products may be exchanged for:

  • the same item,
  • or another product of equal or greater value (price difference applies).

9. How to Request a Return

Please contact Robot Pi Shop with:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Product name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos or videos (if applicable)

Our support team will review your request and provide return instructions if the request qualifies under this policy.

10. Important Notice

By purchasing from Robot Pi Shop, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed the product specifications before purchase.
  • Electronics require proper handling and installation.
  • Opened or used electronic products cannot be returned except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect.
  • Returns requested after the applicable return period will not be accepted.
