The ESP8266 is an all-rounder and a very popular WiFi enabled micro-controller. Our AZDelivery D1 Mini Pro is very similar to the traditional D1 Mini. However, this latest version has been fundamentally revised; The ESP2866 D1 Mini Pro is smaller and lighter, we paid attention to 100% pin and code compatibility, thus all shields for the D1 mini can be used without changes.

The module consists of two components, a USB serial converter (CH340C) and a micro-controller with a highly integrated TCP/IP stack (ESP8266EX).

The board also includes a USB-UART converter (popular CP2104), and for this reason, you only need a simple USB cable to program the module.
