The 3D Printer Controller Kit provides the main electronic control components required for building, upgrading, or repairing a compatible DIY 3D printer or CNC-style motion-control project.
The kit combines a Mega 2560 R3 compatible controller with CH340G USB interface, RAMPS 1.4 expansion board, 2004 LCD control panel, and five A4988 stepper motor driver modules with heatsinks.
This modular configuration is widely used for DIY motion-control systems because individual components and stepper drivers can be replaced or upgraded separately.
Main Components
RAMPS 1.4 Controller Board
Acts as the expansion interface between the Mega 2560 controller and the printer's stepper motors, heaters, endstops, temperature sensors, fans, and other peripherals.
Mega 2560 R3 Compatible Board – CH340G
Provides the main microcontroller platform for running compatible 3D printer firmware and controlling the RAMPS 1.4 board.
2004 LCD Control Panel
Provides a local user interface for navigating menus, monitoring printer status, and controlling compatible firmware functions without requiring continuous computer control.
A4988 Stepper Motor Drivers
Five removable A4988 driver modules are included for controlling compatible bipolar stepper motors. Each driver is supplied with a heatsink to assist with thermal management.

Important Installation Note
Before powering the system, verify the orientation of each A4988 stepper driver carefully. Installing a driver backward can damage the driver and controller electronics.
The A4988 motor-current limit should also be correctly adjusted for the connected stepper motor. Adequate cooling is recommended, particularly when operating multiple stepper motors for extended periods.
