Important Probe Note

The external cable probe is primarily used for temperature measurement.

Humidity is measured by the sensor associated with the main display unit on common versions of this meter.

Therefore, do not assume that placing only the external probe inside an enclosure will also measure the humidity at the probe location.

• Do not immerse the LCD unit in water.
• Do not assume the external probe is suitable for permanent underwater use unless your supplied version is specifically rated as waterproof.
• Avoid installing the meter directly beside heaters or other heat sources that may affect readings.
• Allow time for the sensor readings to stabilize after moving the unit to a different environment.
